In case you havn't heard...WE HAVE A NEW BLOG!...we are terribly pleased with it and hope you follow our journy with us over there at...www.avennablog.com

Finally it has actually happened!  With the help of Tofurious in California we will be releasing our all new blog site.  We will post here when it happens in the next day or so.  We will stop updating this blog then as well, so please update your links and RSS feeds when we post the new blog address.  We are super excited to also be announcing/unveiling our new lifestyle portraiture site in a few as well. Big changes here at Avenna! :)

Hey all, we are out of town for a couple days sightseeing around NYC and attending the Dave show at the Garden.  Really excited!  Also, some really big news/updates coming soon to the blog and a new website for Avenna.  Can't wait to share, and in the meantime follow us on twitter @avennastudios as we attempt to push a little challenge between photographers with iphones (or other camera phones!).  Anyone can join...just tag your posts w/ #iphonechallenge or RT or direct a msg to @avennastudios and we will be sure to follow you!

Found a wonderful new park (Fresh Pond Park) with the Daniels family. We had a ton of fun, thanks guys!

We spent some time with the Born family in Cambridge this weekend for a family session. The boys seemed to love showing all their "toy room" had to offer...and let me tell you, we were pretty jealous! Just had to share some pics before we finish editing the rest.

Hi all, I just wanted to share a couple of pics from a recent event I was asked to help photograph.  It was put together for the Food Project with the help of the folks at Church.  The Food project is a wonderful organization that strives to create social change through sustainable agriculture.  They are based right here in Boston.  Let me know if you would like more information about them!  Also Thick as Thieves was helping out with the benefit concert aspect of the night...and they rocked out.  What a fun night!

Well, without too much pain and agony...as can often happen when attemping to change/alter/update websites and blogs...we have adjusted a few things, most notably the size we can display our images at on this blog.  After all we are photographers, and we wanted to integrate more photography into our blog, meaning we will also be attempting to frequently post images we snapped ourside of the realm of weddings and portraiture while walking about or hanging with friends.  Hope you enjoy.

We are currently updating the look of our blog, so please bear with us if you are looking and things look like disaster :)

This is a wonderful piece done by a fellow artist bearing his soul, and I found it a refreshing take on what many people face.  The biginng is a bit of an insider photographers joke about people telling you how to "become an artist"...might be only funny to us :)
